Coding Happy Teens

Build with AI. Discover yourself. Unlock what's possible.

PL, founder of Coding Happy Teens

Who's behind this

I'm PL — an IT leader, AI practitioner and youth coach based in Singapore, and the person behind Coding Happy Teens.

My career spans enterprise technology, automation and AI, and today I also mentor students through Crimson Education's Software & Technology Capstone program. I enjoy helping young people turn their ideas into real, working projects — not just teaching them how to use the latest AI tools.

Coding Happy Teens grew from a simple belief: teens don't just need to learn how to prompt AI. They need to learn how to think with it.

That means developing judgment, curiosity, creativity and the confidence to experiment, question and make decisions.

The best place to build those skills isn't another lecture. It's inside a real project — where AI becomes the tool, building becomes the practice, and self-discovery becomes part of the journey.

Real projects, not tutorials

Every build starts from something true to the teen's own life, not a generic to-do app.

Coaching built in, not bolted on

The same rhythm that ships code also builds resilience and self-awareness.

Something to show, and something to notice

Teens leave with a working portfolio and a clearer sense of how they think and work.

The approach

Build & Become — how a session actually runs.
